Today marks the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. Germany and the world celebrate this event as the starting point of the fall of the communism in Russia and Eastern Europe.
However there’s still many walls that divide nations, families and cultures. One of them, between Palestine and Israel, and another, much more closer to me, the wall built across the U.S. – Mexico border. I wish there could be someday, that there’s no need to build a wall between our countries.
Speaking to the U.S. Mexico, wall, I found a video that shows Americans and Mexicans playing a volleyball match… literally across the border. That’s the right attitude, despite the existence of the wall, these guys use the fence, as a replacement of a net to play volleyball on the beach.
