Finally, after around 4 months of starting this blog, finally I got PageRank. It’s not too much, it’s just a PageRank of 1, but given the most recent Google Slap I guess it’s good enough.
Since yesterday, I’ve been following Google’s behaviour on my site as well as some other blogs and I found that Google has been very active indexing pages. At first I thougt that only sites with high page rank and a lot of traffic were the only ones with the privilege of getting their pages indexed very quickly, but after seen that my posts were indexed within minutes, then I believe it’s a general pattern. I think this is good and bad at the same time:
1) It’s good because it allows your site to have more pages on Google’s index more faster, which in turn, results in more traffic from Google.
2) It’s not so good, bacause if you finally got a good ranking for a search term, with Google bot being so active, it means that you can lose that position very easily.
Overall, I prefer Google’s speed on indexing pages as it means Google is delivering more fresh and relevant results.
