Yes you read correctly, this blog is about making a living online, so how come I won’t invest more money on Internet Marketing? Well, it’s not that I’m giving up, it’s just a matter of applying a little bit of discipline to myself and start to roll up my sleeves and get to work with the things I have so far.
The thing is this, last month, when I received my credit card statement I realized I had spent over $500 dollars on either software or services that were supposed to improve my online business. Honestly the all the software and services I bought are really good and they truly help to improve any business, but all these stuff is useless if you don’t use it. When you have a family to take care of and two children to feed, is totally wrong and unfair to them, to spend this kind of money without any control. I could’ve used them to take my family to the beach and spend a good weekend there.
This “investment” of over $500 dollars is added to the endless list of software that has been sitting on my laptop computer for years and that has been poorly used. I’m sure that any Internet Marketer could’ve done a fortune just by using the software I have in my computer. The problem are not the programs I’ve bought, but me, that I haven’t dedicated enough discipline to use what I have available to work on. I don’t remember where I read this, but I believe it is true, there is no software more expensive than the one you don’t use.
So starting this month, I left my two credit cards at home and I committed not to spend a dollar more on new programs, software or online services to “improve” my online business, no matter how good or great they are. I will use whatever I have at hand and make sure I make some money with it, I won’t spend more money until I get something back in return from my business.
