I’m a very proud father as my baby Diana finally did her fist steps. She is currently 1 year and 3 months old.
Some of our friends and neighbors used to say that she was getting late in learning to walk. Her older sister, Ana Paula learned to walk when she turned one year old. But after all, who cares if she walked one month later or not. The important thing is that she finally did it and that’s what really matters.
I also learned a very important lesson from her: We are unique individuals and our life’s are not 100% comparable as we grow at our own pace. We just need to focus on being a little bit better ourselves every day, without paying too much attention at other people’s progress. Who cares if other guys are making more money or have more success than us. Good for them, but we just need to keep pushing until we finally make it, and that’s what really matters.
Amazing what we can learn from little girls, don’t you think?
