On Saturady of this week, one day after the announcement that th U.S. economy has lost more than five hundred thousand jobs in November alone, he announced an economic recovery plan with the purpose of creating 2 and a half million jobs.
The plan is basically aimed at increasing government spending in infrastructure, but there is one specific measure that I believe is gonna turn out very valuable for Internet Marketers, and this is the fact that the new administration is planning to invest heavily in “renewing the information super highway“, that is, Barak Obama is going to promote that Broad Band Internet Access becomes a reality in every corner of the United States. As President himself stated:
“It is unacceptable that the United States ranks 15th in the world in broadband adoption, here, in the country that invented the internet, every child should have the chance to get online, and they’ll get that chance when I’m President — because that’s how we’ll strengthen America’s competitiveness in the world….”
These are excellent news for people trying to start a business online, as this measure will make that the market for Internet consumers grow at an important pace in the coming years as more people get access to Internet. This will also make that the market for mobile devicies with Internet connectivity like notebooks, blackberries, iphones, etc. grow as well.
The other good thing is that due to the low entry cost for starting a business online, economic benefits will start to be felt much more faster than in other sectors of the economy like construction.
