Things I've done since last time I wrote on my blog

It’s me again. Sorry, I did it again. Yes I got distracted again and broke the momentum to keep posting on my blog. Today is December 19th, which is 14 days since the last time I wrote and just 43 days away from being fired of the company I’m currently employed. Not a good thing if I want to start making a decent income from Internet. If I really want to succeed I need to be constant and persistent on things I do.

Here are things I did on these 14 days since the last time I wrote:

1) I bought a Sony Mini DV Digital Camcorder: This is a toy I’ve wanted so badly for months, so I finally decided to buy it as now that I don’t have a job it would become harder to get one. I must say that I lost something like 4 or 5 days trying to learn how the camera works and finding out a way to connect it to the computer. Everything works well now, but the quality of MinDV is so great that one minute of recording equals 200 MB of data, so I need to find a way to convert these videos to MP4 to make them lighter for my PC, but that will be something to be done when I have some free time, I don’t want to procrastinate on this anymore.

2) I finished Ed Dale’s 30 Day Challenge:: Well, not everything is bad news, this is a good achievement I did as I committed myself to finishing the 30 Day Challenge. I decided to take as many lessons on a day as I could as I needed to speed up the training. I’m glad I did because it was really easy to follow and want to thanks Ed Dale so much for putting together such a great training, it really helped a lot and I have plans to implement what I learned like right now

3) I bought another Webcam: Here is another thing that got me distracted. I already had a webcam, but it was really bad, so I decided to get a new one with a better resolution, and again, I lost another few days trying to get this thing work with my Laptop. The camera looks much better than the other one I had, but there is something with the camera that doesn’t seem to work well with Windows XP. I stopped trying to find out about how to fix this, as I don’t want to get distracted even more with this.

4) Issues from Work that keep my mind busy I’ve had some issues at work that not only keep me busy for most of the day at work but they also make me thing about the problems all the time in my mind. That’s one of bad things of running an online business at the same time you work. Even if I’m not “doing anything” in reality my mind is always busy thinking how to fix things at work. I expect that once I’m gone from my job, my mind will be more focused towards making my online business work.

So that’s it, I will do my best so I don’t get distracted again.
